They're about to make a fucking spin off called Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective!?
That's just disgraceful! Don't they EVER mix up the genius of Jim Carrey into that crap!

That fucking Guitar Hero drumkit!
Me and my friends bought the whole band pack containing Guitar Hero: World Tour yesterday morning, and was ready to play all day, if not all night. After a couple of hours, the red drum suddenly wouldn't work anymore, so we packed the stuff together and got to the store to collect a new one, because we still had our receipt.

Four hours later, the yellow one suddenly wouldn't work anymore, and the blue and the orange one showed clear signs of being somewhat fucked up. When using the blue drum, the blue and the red were showing on the screen. When using the orange one, both the orange and the red one showed. If we used the yellow one (the broken one), it was registered as a beat on the - wait for it - the red drum.
I recommend everyone who plans to buy this band pack to wait until maybe there will be a new and better version on the market, if possible.
But I got to say - we had a lot of fun time as long as it lasted!

Formula 1 fans: Crying, laughing, or both?
If it wasn't enough seeing Max Mosley involved in a sex scandal, a season packed with ridicolous punishments, losing the Canadian GP and the selfish Bernie Ecclestone being the selfish Bernie Ecclestone as usual - the 2009 spec Formula 1 cars to improve overtaking is here:

After a couple of weeks laughing, I will probably cry as hell.

The hype around Cristiano Ronaldo
The hype around Cristiano Ronaldo is neverending.
The Manchester United-player is the hottest in the media, whether it's about sports or his private life (like gossip). He's a skillful young man with record-breaking 42 goals in one season.
The Manchester United-player is the hottest in the media, whether it's about sports or his private life (like gossip). He's a skillful young man with record-breaking 42 goals in one season.

But I don't like him. Let me tell you why.
1. Diving
His main problem is diving. About 90% of the Manchester United-fans love him, naturally for all the goals he's providing. Everyone who is not a Manchester United-supporter hates him, and they mention the diving as a huge, if not the only part of it.
2. Complaining
He complains a lot. It is allowed to complain about referee decisions, everyone does that. But here's what I mean - Ronaldo dives, does not get a free kick or recieves a yellow card, and complains. How reasonable is that, really? He should very well know that he don't deserve free kicks and penalties when diving, and even if he's getting away with so much (getting penalties against Middlesbrough etc.), he still complains. That's just silly and annoying.
3. Not necessarily doing a good job
Even though Ronaldo is providing with goals or assists, he doesn't really play with his heart outside the sleeve, as they say(?). When he loses the ball, in 9 out of 10 situations, he's never going to try to get that ball back. He's just left standing, either dissapointed with himself (who wouldn't?), frustrated, or whining because he didn't get the free kick he wanted for his dive.
Look at players like Dirk Kuyt, running around like hell. Sure, Kuyt doesn't have those dribbling skills and speed like Cristiano Ronaldo, but Ronaldo does certainly not have the working capacity of Kuyt. Or Wayne Rooney for that's sake. How many times do you see Ronaldo sprint after the opponent he just lost the ball to? How many times do you see Rooney or Kuyt do the same? Many times.
This is three things which brings us to a conclusion. The media and fans is all about what he has achieved. How beautiful his free kicks is, how beautiful control he has with the ball, and how beautiful it is to watch some dribbling leading to an assist or a goal.
Hell, I've got to admit - he's a fucking good player, and some of his goals are stunning - but that's about it when it comes to Ronaldo, no matter how important his goals are!
If you ask me, players like Kuyt and Rooney deserves way much credit for their effort that Ronaldo is barely doing.
Oh, just one other (irrelevant) thing - People may dislike Ronaldo for being metrosexual. You know, a term used for a person that's well into fashion and beauty and such. I think Ronaldo is the only Premiership player that has trimmed his eyebrows.
Please, do not call me a Ronaldo hater (even though I dislike him, but I do not hate him. Just almost) and don't be so childish to tell me that I'm jealous of him. I'm not. I've said that I think he has got talent like hell, and I've tried my best to make an objective analysis which doesn't offend people, trying to make reasonable points and such without talking bullshit.
Offensive comments will be deleted. Thank you for reading :)
Why is that?
Why is it that you're considered stupid when listening to certain bands that others don't like?
I mean, it's like clothing or having a slim body. If it isn't adjusted right to the society, the inhabitants of the world, it isn't right. A child can easily be left out from his or her friends because he or she doesn't dress "right".
It's the same with music as well. I've ignored bands like My Chemical Romance because I guess I don't like the way they dress, or because my brothers hate that band. Besides, based on the assumption that they are emo, which I don't know to this day. I don't know if any of my friends listen to it either.
But, ironically, a week ago, I watched a video with a song I liked very much. Without knowing it, the song was The Black Parade by My Chemical Romance. Now as I know what band made that song, I still like it very much, but don't dare to listen to the song in case one of my brothers notices and starts teasing me.
The conclusion here is that I should be ashamed of myself. I've ignored a band and its music just because of assumptions and their looks. The persons behind the music plays a huge part when it comes to fans, it seems.
But at least My Chemical Romance is loved by many, no matter what.

The genius Radiohead

The sweet, comforting xylofon in No Surprises.
The strong bass riff that is National Anthem.
The great noisy tempo that is Electioneering.
The high scream in You.
The creepy guitar sounds in Subterranean Homesick Alien.
The excellent start in Airbag.
The dramatic Jigsaw Falling Into Place.
The dramatic Where I end and you begin.
The tragic sound of Videotape.
The "punch-in-the-face" that is Just.
The surreal My Iron Lung.
The very warming Nice Dream.
The relaxing House of Cards.
The excellence of Paranoid Android.
The mellancollie of Let Down.
The spiritual Reckoner.
The variously and geniously Radiohead.
